Experience of SAI Peru

Mr. Nelson Shack Yalta, Comptroller General of the Republic of Peru, presents the video on the 4th provision of the Moscow Declaration “SAIs could promote the principle of availability and openness of data, source code and algorithms”.

Open data plays a crucial role in the monitoring of the performance of public administration following the progress of SDGs implementation. The Head of SAI speaks on a variety of SAIs projects in the area of availability and applicability of data. One of them is the International Observatory of Governments and SAIs initiatives in relation to COVID-19, which seek to make information available at a global level both from SAIs and any government entity.
