International Meeting of Auditors on Cooperation in the Field of Audit Integration at SAI Switzerland

SAI Switzerland, in cooperation with the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs and INTOSAI Development Initiative, organized an international meeting of auditors on the integration of cooperation between the SAI and internal audit organizations.

The meeting held in Bern (Switzerland) provided an opportunity to discuss professional foundations and practical examples regarding the ways and scope of cooperation between external and internal auditors in conducting audit work.

The participants considered future opportunities to further strengthen cooperation in order to conduct effective audits and reduce remaining risks in public sector activities.
