SAI Bolivia conducted a training programme for local government authorities
SAI Bolivia completed the first stage of the training program “Transparent, Responsible and Results-Oriented Public Administration.” More than 1,000 representatives of local authorities took part in the initiative.
The program was developed by the Professional Training Centre of SAI Bolivia. Participants addressed public planning and oversight, public investment management and the prevention of irregularities. Particular attention was paid to introducing effective oversight mechanisms and training qualified personnel.
Sandra Quiroga Solano, Acting Comptroller General of Bolivia, emphasized the importance of cooperation between the SAI and local authorities in improving the efficiency of public resource use. The program is expected to be extended to other regions of the country.
