SAI China Held a National Audit Conference

In January 2023, the SAI of China held its annual National Audit Conference in Beijing with the country’s regional audit authorities and audit organizations.

The Auditor General of the SAI of China, Mr. Hou Kai outlined the main priorities of the audit work. Particular emphasis was payed on the issues of public finance audit quality, social policy, the fight against corruption and strengthening the capacity of control and accounting bodies.

After the Conference, regional audit institutions of China held internal meetings for employees of their departments on the issues of more effective work of organizations.

The focus was on the system of nurturing and professional training of personnel, advanced training of employees, online training, audit quality control, conducting research to analyze the key tasks of the economy, as well as work to prevent and eliminate hidden risks and fight corruption.
