SAI Japan Held the 27th Tokyo International Audit Meeting

In December 2023, the 27th Tokyo International Audit Meeting was held in Japan.
Experts from SAIs of France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States of America participated in the event.
Participants from five countries expressed their views on ways to improve audit techniques, the effectiveness of audit actions, and the quality of public administration.
In addition, special attention was paid to the use of the latest technologies, such as artificial intelligence.
Common challenges faced by SAIs in each country in terms of innovation in audit practices and organizational management, as well as lessons learned and future priorities, were the subject of joint discussions.
