Students of the University of Panama joined a public oversight programme for government infrastructure projects

SAI Panama engaged students in public oversight of infrastructure project implementation. The initiative is being carried out jointly with the University of Panama. The students completed introductory training and received official status as public observers. As part of their preparation, participants learned the basic principles for assessing the quality of construction materials, compliance with technical requirements and the actual progress of works. The project aims to strengthen public oversight of the use of government resources and promote the principles of transparency and accountability.
