SAI Morocco Held an International Conference on Transparency, Integrity and Well Governance

SAI Morocco, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Economy and Finance of Morocco held an international conference on “The role of supreme audit institutions in strengthening accountability, transparency and good governance”. 

The Conference was held as part of a series of events organized by Morocco to mark the 2023 annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund in Marrakech.

The Conference was attended by representatives of SAIs, employees of the Moroccan Ministry of Finance, experts from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, as well as other stakeholders who develop transparency and accountability programs.

Discussions during this event focused on the following three topics:

• institutional partnership
• control strategies to increase transparency and public integrity
• digital transformation of state institutions.
