Second Stage of AFROSAI-E Training-of-Trainers Champions Program
The African Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions of English-Speaking Countries (AFROSAI-E) is conducting the second phase of the Training-of-Trainers Champions Program (ToT) for SAIs’ staff. The first stage of the program will be launched in 2022.
The second phase of the program started in June with the first workshop in South Africa. It was attended by the SAIs of Botswana, Liberia, Malawi, Rwanda, Somalia and Zimbabwe.
The aim of the program is to teach SAIs to apply their knowledge on introducing new methods and tools to the activities of supreme audit institutions, as well as to effectively evaluate, plan and conduct training for employees of their departments.
The delegates were trained from the basics of theory to practice. The next stage of training will be held until the end of 2023, after which participants, who have passed all the seminars in 2023, will be added to the pool of champions in the AFROSAI-E network of facilitators.
