Video on Considerations for Responses to Disasters by AFROSAI-E

The African Organization of English-speaking Supreme Audit Institutions (AFROSAI-E) made a short video on the topic: “How to respond quickly to emergencies”.

This video is an illustration of the handbook developed by AFROSAI-E in 2020, “Pocket Guide for SAIs – Considerations for Responses to Disasters“.

The Guide contains recommendations at the strategic level on emergency response measures during the three phases of the disaster cycle: before a natural disaster, during a natural disaster (emergency stage) and after a natural disaster.

The handbook also addresses issues related to conducting real-time audits and disaster preparedness audits.
